Director of Strategy & Operations
Dr. Chioma Onoshakpor
Dr. Chioma Onoshakpor is an accomplished academic, entrepreneur, and community leader with extensive experience in governance, strategic leadership, research, and stakeholder engagement. She is an Assistant Professor in Management and Entrepreneurship at Robert Gordon University, where she leads initiatives in entrepreneurship education, innovation, equality, diversity and inclusion, and international collaboration.
As the Founder of Boss Babes Scotland, a platform dedicated to empowering women entrepreneurs and professionals, Chioma has demonstrated a strong commitment to inclusive economic growth, leadership development, and social impact. Through this work, she has built strategic partnerships across academia, industry, and the third sector, supporting underrepresented groups to access opportunities for enterprise, leadership, and career progression.
Chioma also serves as the Secretary and Trustee of a charitable organisation, providing governance oversight, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting strategic decision-making, and contributing to the long-term sustainability and impact of the charity. Her trustee experience has strengthened her understanding of risk management, organisational accountability, fiduciary responsibility, and board effectiveness.
An award-winning researcher and speaker, Chioma brings expertise in entrepreneurship, innovation, gender equality, artificial intelligence, education, and organisational transformation. She has successfully secured and managed collaborative projects, led multidisciplinary teams, and influenced policy and practice through research, public engagement, and international partnerships.
Known for her collaborative leadership style, strategic thinking, and commitment to ethical governance, Chioma combines commercial awareness with a strong social purpose. Her ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments, challenge constructively, and champion inclusive growth makes her well-positioned to contribute as a Non-Executive Director, providing independent oversight, strategic insight, and effective governance to organisations seeking sustainable impact and long-term value creation.

Joy Kelikume Oziomaaka
Joy Kelikume Oziomaaka is an award-winning fashion creative, entrepreneur, cultural leader, researcher, speaker, and business strategist whose work sits at the intersection of creativity, cultural identity, inclusion, and social impact. With over 15 years of professional leadership experience and more than nine years in the fashion and creative industries, she is the Founder and Creative Director of Kelikume Fashion and Styling, a fashion brand established in Lagos, Nigeria, and now evolving in Aberdeen, Scotland.
Inspired by African heritage, craftsmanship and storytelling, Joy uses fashion as a powerful vehicle for cultural preservation, dialogue, and economic empowerment. Her work blends traditional African textiles and techniques with contemporary design, creating meaningful experiences that celebrate identity while connecting diverse communities. She is also the creator and curator of *Roots and Rebirth – Catwalk Meets Culture*, an immersive cultural experience bringing together fashion, art, music, and storytelling to encourage cross-cultural understanding.
Before pursuing fashion full-time, Joy built a successful corporate career at Chevron Nigeria, including serving as Corporate Responsibility Manager. Her experience in sustainability, stakeholder engagement, community development, and strategic partnerships continues to shape her commitment to inclusive growth and social impact.
Joy holds degrees in Finance and Human Resources Management from the University of Lagos and an MSc in International Tourism Management from the University of Aberdeen. She also collaborates with UK universities on research exploring fashion entrepreneurship, cultural identity, international creative practice, and the experiences of Global Talent Visa recipients.
Passionate about developing future talent, Joy leads initiatives that equip young people with creative, entrepreneurial, and business skills. As a speaker, mentor, and cultural advocate, she brings a unique perspective to conversations on belonging, identity, intersectionality, allyship, and inclusive futures.

Kathleen Harris-Leighton
Kathleen Harris-Leighton is a dynamic Leader, Educator, and EEDI Specialist with over six years of direct Non-Executive Director (NED) governance experience. As a Director of Boss Babes Scotland, Kathleen blends strategic vision with grassroots community advocacy, helping housing providers navigate complex social landscapes, modernise equity and inclusion frameworks, and build resilient, tenant-centred board structures.
A PGCE-qualified Educator, Master Life Coach, and Keynote Speaker, Kathleen excels at translating complex governance mandates into transformative, real-world impact. Her work focuses on empowering marginalised voices, fostering genuinely inclusive organizational cultures, and equipping boards and leadership teams with the tools needed to champion equality across Scotland’s social housing sector.
